Anandu Bhadran is a PhD Scholar working in the field of development of Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL) platform. His interest is towards technologies in aerospace propulsion.
Besides his academic interests, he also likes to engage in painting, photography, reading sci-fi and mythology books, and sports activities.

Annie Rose Elizabeth is a PhD scholar working in the field of granular propellant combustion. Her research interests are in code/Solver development, CFD and compressible multifluid flows.
She also has experience in working with gas-solid and gas-liquid Applications, underwater propulsion and solid rocket motor with pyrotechnic igniter.
Karri Veerandra Yadav is a PhD Scholar working in Composite Solid Propellant (CSP). His area focuses on studying aging in solid propellants to understand the aging mechanism in CSP. He uses a Cyclic accelerated aging technique to study aging in CPS and its effects on Ballistic and Mechanic properties. Furthermore, he has expertise in cryogenic and vacuum allied technologies. He is fascinated by artwork like Indian stone, wooden carving, Japanese wooden temple structures and pottery.

Mahesh Ingole is a PhD Scholar working in the field of Ammonium Perchlorate. He also worked as a Project officer before joining for PhD. His research interests are in combustion characteristic of AP. He also has experience in working with pressed propellant for solid fuel ramjet.
He has published three conference paper in his PhD tenure to date and has co-authored in four Journal paper in his tenure as Project Officer.

Sumit Sarma is a PhD Scholar working in the field of Solid Rocket Ignition Transient. His research interests are in pyrotechnic ignition, propellant combustion, experimental diagnostics and heat transfer mechanisms. He also has experience in working with laser diagnostics, schlieren, shadowgraph, droplet evaporation.
His hobbies are singing and playing badminton. He aims to keep working in academic research as teaching professional.

Rohith is a PhD Scholar working on the Design and Development of Dual Powered Penta-copter. His primary interest is to enhance the performance of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) by engine and propeller characterisation. He works on characterising different spark-ignition engines such as single cylinder and multi-cylinder radial engines with both 2-stroke and 4-stroke configurations. He is also working on the modifications for the two-stroke engines in the UAV.

Nimisha Srivastava is a PhD scholar working in the development of multi-phase CFD solvers for problems in solid rocket propulsion. She has developed 3D solvers using the multi-fluid model. She has also worked as a CFD support engineer with Altair and has experience in the numerical analysis of micro-combustion systems. Her research interests also include high-performance computing and machine learning for CFD.

Sahul Kumar is a PhD Scholar in hybrid rocket propulsion and ramjet. He has worked in ISRO as a JRF. He pursued his M.Tech in Internal Combustion Engines and Turbomachinery from Government Engineering College, Thrissur in the year 2019. He completed his B.E. from Anna University in the year 2014. He also B.Sc. Aeronautical Science from Anna University, Chennai in the year 2010, and later joined in HAL, Koraput as a project intern.

Prathamesh Chine is a Direct PhD scholar. He joined in July 2021 after completing his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently working on Hypersonic Vehicles. His work involves CFD analysis of conceptual hypersonic inlet designs. During his B.Tech., he has designed and patented a Novel Cooking Vessel which enhances the efficiency of a normal cooking vessel. A Chess enthusiast since childhood, he is in the top 5% of chess players in India.

Kishore is a Ph.D. scholar who is currently working on high-speed ballistics and ramjet propulsion systems. Prior to this, he completed his Masters at R&M Lab and his Bachelors degree from Hindustan University. He also has a year of experience as a project officer at IIT Madras, working on ramjet-assisted artillery shells. His broad area of research is aerospace propulsion, with interest in computational analysis.

Saravanan is a PhD Scholar in the field of Aerospace propulsion. He finished his master of Engineering from GCT, Coimbatore in Thermal Engineering in 2020. He has experience in working with Al-HTPB composite propellants, ignition transient studies, combustion videography techniques, particle characterization and Al-HTPB composite propellant processing for a DRDO-sponsored project. He also has three years of experience as a lecturer at Polytechnic College. His research interests are in composite propellants and hypersonic propulsion.

Tirthadeb Ghosh Tirthadeb Ghosh is an MS scholar working in the field of solid propellants. His research interests are in the transient burning characteristics of solid propellants and igniters. He completed his BE in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University and thereafter worked as an Assistant Manager in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited. He was awarded the IASc-INSA-NASI Summer Research Fellowship in 2016 as well as DST-INSPIRE scholarship by the Department of Science and Technology in 2013.
Piyali Ghosh is an MS Research Scholar in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at IIT Madras. She completed her B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. She is currently working on AP-based pressed propellants and burn rate control methods.
She is proficient in MATLAB, SOLIDWORKS, and ResearchIR Max Software.

Babhravi Raje Sharma is an MS Research Scholar in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at IIT Madras. Her research area involves Compressible flows, Hypersonic vehicles and Rocket Propulsion. Mukesh is a graduate student pursuing his Master's in Aerospace Engineering at IIT Madras. Previously, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Kattankulathur. He's focused on hybrid rockets, a type of rocket that uses both solid as a fuel and gas as an oxidizer. He designed and developed a platform (launcher) for launching unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from short runways, using a hybrid rocket motor.

Sourabh Jaiswal is an MTech student engaged in developing a solver aimed at analyzing aerodynamics and flight dynamics of rotating bodies. He has aspirations to delve into missile technology in the future.
He also has experience in manufacturing and market of UAVs and has acquired a Drone flying license for small UAV category. He is a state-level gymnast who is skilled in many sports such as swimming and football.
